BAGDRIP

Bagdrip is a circular accessories brand designed by Haylee Chaplin, a multidisciplinary artist based in London. 

With 90% reclaimed materials, Bagdrip repurposes fabrics destined for landfill into functional, space efficient, utilitarian, handmade cross body bags. 

Established in 2021, the very first water bottle bag was designed and sewed in London. From the snips to hand scissors, thread to tailor’s chalk, measuring tapes to vintage fabrics, the focus of Bagdrip has been on using solely second-hand materials. 

The textiles are hand-sourced through surplus/deadstock suppliers, fabric recycling centres and upcycled clothing. Each bag is paired with a complimenting strap and industrial hardware, then matched with a striking handpicked cord, repurposing surplus cut offs from Paracord. 

With a passion for circular fashion, Bagdrip’s pieces are unique, limited runs or one offs. Working with scraps and limited material quantities, this allows a creative flow where time and love is given to each product with focus on pattern positioning, fabric choices and texture placement.
